Beer is more than just a delicious beverage to enjoy with friends — it’s the result of thousands of years of communities cultivating and perfecting the brewing process, and using it as a means of connection. For a taproom that not only offers a delicious selection of beers, but does so through honoring its ancient art, visit Alewife Brewing Company. Alewife is named for the women who have used brewing processes to create brews both spiritualistic and medicinal, many of which were mixed with psychedelics to use during shamanistic practices. The beer at Alewife is a transcendental experience, but don’t worry, it’s not because of psychedelics — it’s just that good. Their wide variety of beers cater to every taste. Plus, they offer delicious bites to munch on while you enjoy brews with a bit of loving history in every sip.
