Chiddy’s CheeseSteaks started with founder Mike Chidester, and the brand still markets itself with the confidence of somebody who has spent years bringing Philly standards to a New York market. The menu is wide, but never loses its focus. Chiddy’s Signature runs ribeye, onions, peppers, mushrooms, provolone and Whiz; while the Squealin’ Philly adds applewood-smoked bacon and cheddar. If you’re a vegetarian, take advantage of the vegetarian cheesesteaks; and if you want something in addition to the cheesesteak, look to the empanadas, wings and loaded fries for three great options.
