In addition to being the principal of Thomas A. Edison Career and Technical Education High School in Jamaica, Moses A. Ojeda is also an alma mater, having graduated in the class of 1993. After joining the school’s staff as a computer maintenance and repair teacher in 1998, Ojeda was named the assistant principal of the Career and Technical Education department. In that position, he revamped and developed new and innovative programs relevant to demands in the field. He was promoted to the school’s principal in 2012, becoming the first alumnus to serve in the role. He credits the school for making him the man he is today and now works to provide the same kind of opportunities to his students that he received.
