Long live the king! Celebrity impersonator Lamar Peters has taken Queens residents and other New Yorkers alike on a nostalgic journey where rockabilly reigned supreme and “Heartbreak Hotel” dominated the charts. Peters became the first Elvis Presley tribute artist to perform at the iconic B.B. King Blues Club and Grill in 2013 and has since toured with Heart of the King Ambassadors Show Production and has placed in the Top 3 in the Ultimate Elvis Presley tribute contest sponsored by Elvis Presley Enterprises. He’s more than just a Presley tribute performer — he also incorporates music from Johnny Cash, The Beatles, Sam Cooke and Billy Joel into his repertoire.
