The Queensborough Performing Arts Center offers accessible world-class entertainment to the surrounding community. For more than fifty years, the Queensborough Performing Arts Center has produced more than 1,200 performances and served over 1 million individuals in its 800-seat theater. The center’s prices are intentionally kept affordable so that working families, younger generations, and seniors can have the opportunity to enjoy the high-quality shows. The Center also serves as a learning laboratory that provides many cultural and artistic opportunities for college students in an effort to integrate the arts into the learning process.

Since its inception, the Queensborough Performing Arts Center has provided the borough with a great, local concert venue, giving more people access to live music. The theater is large enough to accommodate over 800 people but small enough to feel like each concert is an intimate event. It also features a chorus section and a full sized Steinway concert piano. Concerts at the Queensborough Performing Arts Center are priced affordably to fit anyone’s budget, including working families, the younger generation of music fans and seniors. In the past, the venue has welcomed such world-class musical acts like the late Davey Jones of The Monkees, Michael Bolton and Louis Prima Jr.
